Some Christmas scenes in Sri Lanka
| We went to the carol service at Trinity College, Kandy, one of the top schools in Sri Lanka. It has more than 3000 students. The chapel is beautiful and was packed for the service. Our picture shows Priya Jebanesan, the wife of TCL's Principal, with her son Ivan, one of the Trinity choir boys. | This Italianate crib scene was outside the chapel at the National Roman Catholic Seminary at Ampitiya in Kandy. We attended a most beautiful and memorable carol service here on December 15th. |

| There are a large number of international schools in Kandy including the Colombo International School (CIS) who held their carol service at St. Paul's Church. We attended with the TCL Dean of Studies, Dr. Lawrence, his wife, Malar, and their two children, Felix and Felicita who both attend CIS. The picture shows the Lady Chapel at St. Paul's. | At Pussellawa we met Santa Claus and his elves preparing to surprise the children at the Year End Concert. See other pictures on the website about Pussellawa. |
| Every year the students go carol singing round the campus and some nearby houses. This picture shows them in our porch at four o'clock in the morning. Manoj is playing the xylophone, Valantine the accordion and Dinesh the guitar. |
