Some Miscellaneous Pictures

We travelled to Anuradhapura, the ancient capital before Polonnaruwa, for work reasons.  But our camera came with us.

Another picture near Anuradhapura.

A coffee plant.  Coffee was the original plantation crop in Sri Lanka.  It was wiped out by disease in the mid/late nineteenth century and was successfully replaced by tea.  However, some is now grown by the locals.  We have been treated to home grown cups of coffee on more than one occasion.

We gave a talk at Maradana Methodist Church in Colombo to a Wesley Guild meeting.  Our subject was Zambia and HIV/AIDS.
