| At TCL there are a number of Interest Groups that meet regularly. One of these is the Inter-Faith Interest Group that recently organised an Inter-Faith seminar at Kandy Methodist Church Hall. The audience heard speeches from a Buddhist monk, a Muslim, a Hindu and a Christian, the minister of Kandy Methodist Church, the Reverend Anura Perera. | In Sri Lanka inter-faith relations are especially important with large populations of Hindus (~14%), Muslims (~8%), Christians (~8% (7% Roman Catholic, 1% Prostestant)) and Buddhists (~70%). |
