The British Garrison Cemetery, Kandy.

Situated right behind the Temple of the Tooth and at the foot of the Udawattakelle protected forest is the British Garrison Cemetery.  This contains nearly 200 graves of British soldiers, government officers, businessmen and their families.  Malaria undid most of them.	The autumnal feel is due to the fallen flowers of a flame tree rather than turned leaves.
The Cemetery lay in ruins for many years but was repaired in time for a visit by Prince Charles in  1998.	Sermon Material?
