Here are the library staff and other staff based in the library building, Chandra (housekeeper), Deepa (typing Sinhalese books for the text book programme, and typing newsletter and journal), Harshini (library science student, at TCL for work experience), Maggie (Librarian, mission partner), Rangika (new assistant Librarian) and Mahindini (cleaning and photocopying). Here we see Mr. Frank (Administrator), Christy (College driver), Mr. Piyarathne (gardener), Mr. Mookan (retired gardener), Mr. Kandiah (gardener), Malika (kitchen), Kaliani (gardener), Irangani (kitchen).  Not shown are Suresh (maintenance), Sunil (night watchman), Aruldevi (creche & housekeeping) and Ramu (cowman).
Here are the office staff:  Princy (Principal's Secretary), Christ (College driver), Nilusha (Accounts Officer), Chitrika (Academic Secretary).  Not shown: Devika (Accounts Clerk).  Devika is leaving TCL December 2008 as she is getting married in January 2009.  We will miss her as she has always been very friendly to us. Rosemary and James both enjoy teaching the spouses class.  Here we see six of the eight spouses who attend the classes, namely, Dharshini, Kohila, Priya, Vicki, Priyanthi and Anoma.

Mrs. Yvonne Ferdinands, a former Vice President of the Methodist Conference, has been the Head of the English Department at TCL for many years.  She celebrated her 75th birthday in September this year. She is an active member of Kandy Methodist Church. Dr. Clive Mills, an EEP volunteer (Experience Exchange Programme), arrived at TCL in September and is teaching Greek.  He is also improving the catalogue of the Church History Documentation Centre (CHDC).  Here he is pictured in the CHDC, part of the TCL library complex.
