Some TCL Scenes and Ordinations of former TCL Students: October to December 2009.


Our friend Jenny Hulin (here in Sri Lanka with VSO) conducted a seminar on mental health issues. The students found it very interesting and challenging, and they also very much enjoyed the interactive format. Here Indradevi gives here comments while Jenny and Rev'd Jerome look on. Former students, the Reverends Sanath Medagamgoda and Anuruddha Bandara of the Diocese of Kurunegala on the occasion of their ordination to the priesthood at Trinity College Chapel on Saturday 7th November 2009. They left TCL at Easter 2009. Rosemary really enjoyed teaching their batch and we still miss the presence of this batch around the campus.	Former students, Arulanantham, Wasana, Wesley and Nishantha at their ordinations at Kollupitiya Methodist church, Colombo on Saturday 14th November. 2009. These were in the first batch of students which Rosemary taught at TCL September to December 2005. The Methodists have a probationary period of 3 years here.

This magnificent tusker turned up unexpectedly on the TCL cricket pitch to load some timber onto a lorry. Monday afternoon October 19th 2009	There was a Faculty Fellowship meal to say farewell to the Reverends Karunsekara and Wijegooewardana and their families who are leaving in January. Here we see Rosemary in a favourite saree (a gift from Jancy and Karu for her recent birthday) while the Principal, Rev. Dr. Jebanesan, confers with Rev. Mahendran. Thursday December 17th 2009.
