| It has been a time of "last" this
and "last" that. Here Rosemary conducts her last communion service in
the 2009/10 Academic Year in the College Chapel. She did later take
some whilst the Orientation students were with us. Wednesday March 24th 2010 |
Maggie Mudalige, a Methodist / USPG Mission Partner had been the College's highly efficient librarian for 12 years, left this year and immediately went of furlough duty to Britain. But, being married to Kit, a Sri Lankan, she will return to Sri Lanka and, it is hoped, take on some new duties at TCL. Here Father Stephen makes a speech in the Library: Thursday March 25th 2010. |

In April the college was pleased to welcome Dr. Anton Knuth of Evangelisches Missionswerk of Germany. EMW are kindly supporting an Administrative and Academic Support programme. Here he is pictured on the left with Fathers Jerome, Christo (Dean) and Jebi. James was also present at the meetings but took this photo April 24th 2010.

A long-standing desire to conduct some sort of teacher training for the Faculty was finally met in May when Professor Bandara of the University of Peradeniya conducted the first of a series of three workshops. The workshop is part of the new Principal's aim to raise the standards of what TCL does in all its functions. May12th 2010. |
Four more leavers: Rev. Dr. A.W. Jebanesan (Jebi) and Priya - and us. Jebi will become the new President of the Methodist Church of Sri Lanka in August, a five year executive post. Friday evening May 14th 2010
