festivities were hosted in the large and lovely library hall. Here the

librarian, Maggie Mudalige, our colleague British Methodist Mission Partner, lights one
of the wicks on the traditional brass lampstands, flanked by traditional
Kandyan musicians. |

This year there was an exhibition of handiwork by the college residents,
in particular, the members of the Women's Fellowship. |
Three mission partners in Sri
Lanka, all in saris, who attended the College Day celebrations; Ina Watson
runs a Counselling Centre in Kandy and also teaches a
Diploma in Counselling Studies and Group Work at TCL and , Rosemary, and Rebecca Baker
who, together with her husband Matt, founded the Beacon Hill Academy in Nuwara Eliya.
